Meet Sweet Kia! 

Kia is a sweet 6-year-old, 11-pound red miniature poodle who is ready to start her brand-new life! After spending her first six years in a breeding situation, Kia has been freed from her role as a mama dog and is now discovering the joys of being a cherished companion.

Kia is gentle, affectionate, and learning each day what it means to be loved. She would do best in a home with another well-balanced dog to show her the ropes and be her buddy. She gets along wonderfully with kids and dogs of all ages and sizes.

She’s making steady progress with house manners—her smart poodle brain and a regular routine are helping her catch on quickly. Kia is comfortable being crated and even enjoys sharing her cozy crate with her foster sister.

This girl is being lovingly fostered in Sunbury, PA, and comes spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
