Apple is an approx 1-year old shiba inu / pittie mix. This tiny girl (around 20 pounds) had a rough start in a small home with 8 other dogs. This timid, tender-hearted pup  needs extra patience to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you, she’ll be your devoted best friend. Apple thrives in the company of other dogs, so if you already have a furry friend who loves to play and share the spotlight, she’ll be the perfect match!

What Apple lacks in confidence, she makes up for in heart. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll love to be on your lap and curl up next to you for a nap.

 Apple’s ideal home looks like:

•A patient and loving family who understands that trust takes time. She would do best with a home with no small children. 

•Another friendly, well-adjusted, confident  dog to help her feel at ease and show her the ropes.

•A calm, quiet space where she can feel safe and gradually come out of her shell.
