Black Labrador Retriever : : Female : : Adult
Cassie Rose is a very sweet, slightly timid female black lab. She is approximately 5 years old. The owners can not afford to keep her.
Cassie loves to ride in the car, listens well, loves to play, socialize with people. She did not bark at the evaluator, but was alittle timid until she warmed up.
Cassie walks well on a leash, and is energetic. Cassie is crate trained. She has no known medical conditions or aggressions. She and the other dog in her household share food from the same bowl. She is trained to stay on her property.
Cassie is patiently waiting for someone to open their heart and home to her. She wants to be your forever companion. Doesn't her labby smile just melt your heart?
May 28 Update Cassie attended an adoption event today at Petco. She was a little shy when she first arrived, but after spending time exploring the store with 2 young girls who were there to volunteer with their mom, she started to feel comfortable and enjoy the company. She was a little more shy of women than men, and definitely VERY comfortable around children. She did well with the other dogs that were there. She rode great in the car on the 1/2 hour ride to and from the store. Cassie will make a devoted companion and a great canine family member.
