Kera is a beautiful 1 year old Husky/Golden mix. She is housetrained, crate trained, good with children, dogs and cats. She is extremely energetic and needs more exercise than can be provided in her present environment. Kera is very playful, but not aggressive, and she is fairly well behaved for a pup. Her owners said she never countersurfs, but will occasionally chew on things laying around the house (like any young pup is inclined to do). Though she is very active, when she was in the presence of a two year old living in the household, she would stop short of making contact (which could knock a child down).
Kera is very loving and affectionate and just waiting for the right family to provide her with training, exercise and love. She will make the right person or family a lovely companion. Kera will be spayed and completely vetted before adoption.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
