PJ is an easy going, friendly bassett/beagle mix, 30 lbs, neutered and up-to-date with all shots and screenings. He loves walking on a leash but his nose is always working so he isn't the best at following his human's lead and expectations yet...some leash training is needed. He rides well in the car but his short little legs means he sometimes needs help getting in and out of the car. He gets along with other dogs and children. He doesn't have the usual beagle barking behavior rather he is quiet and attentive to his humans. He is almost housebroken. He looks up at you with his deep brown eyes as if to say "I'll be a good boy if you take me home."
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
