About Fritz

Fritz is a 3 year old male rat terrier. He can be timid when you first meet him and he may bark at strangers, but this seems to be a reaction to his uneasiness in new situations.  He tends to warms up quickly and enjoys cuddling on a lap.  Fritz was very starved for attention when he came to rescue.  He is gaining confidence everyday and will be a great lap dog and companion.  More info to follow from his foster mom who thinks he is "very special".  Fritz is neutered, up to date with vaccines, and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
 
Foster UPDATE:  Fritz is settling into his new environment very well. He is coming out of his shell and showing his sweet personality. He gets along with his foster brothers and sister and enjoys playing with them. He loves attention and cuddling. Fritz is crate trained and seems to be housetrained. He's shy on first introduction, but give him a day or two and you see the great little boy he is.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
