Schnauzer / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (long coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Small Learn more about the Schnauzer.
Joey is a smaller poodle/schnauzer who was abandoned with his bigger friend Buster. Both dogs were bathed, taken to the vet, and are on their way to a Haven to Home foster family. They were very affectionate and friendly to the rescue volunteers, who reported no problem while giving them a bath or riding in the car. They allowed face, feet, ears to be touched and were tested for food agression with no problems. They were both fine with other dogs at the vet's office and they were updated on their shots and neutered. JUNE 6-UPDATE FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Joey and Buster are adorable.
Joey has a brand new puppy cut look, which really helps to show off his beautiful eyes. Joey has a little bit more energy than his pal Buster. His favorite things include chasing rabbits, squirrels, and chewing on rawhide bones. Joey is crate trained; we are still working on housetraining. Joey is a little protective of his food and bones with the other dogs, but I can take them away with no problem.
Buster and Joey seemed to be bonded, but separate adoptions will be considered. However, if you are loooking for a pair of dogs, these might be the ones for you.
