Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Faira is a 2 1/2 year old female Boxer/Rottweiler mix.  She is looking for a forever home because her owner's landlord no longer will allow them to have a dog. 

Faira lived with four young children who crawl all over her.  She is very tolerant and easy going.  She was just moved to an H2H Foster home where she is living with another dog. From the picture of her relaxing on the sofa and napping on the floor with her canine foster brother, it looks like she settled right in.   Check back soon for more information from her foster family.

Foster Update 11/28/2012

Faira is fitting in nicely; she and her foster brother are on a schedule of playing for 2 hours then napping for 2 hours. She craves attention and enjoys some lap time.  No problems of aggression or with sharing either food, toys or chewies, or attention. She is alert and attentive to noises and seems to be protective in a good way. She is not accustomed to being crated, but is adjusting to sleeping in a crate at night. Faira has not had any accidents in the house and she knows some basic commands.  She is also learning “out” to stay out of the kitchen while dinner is being prepared.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
