Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Kobe is a mixed-breed who is around 3 years old. He weighs 60 pounds. He is good on a leash, very smart, and quickly learned basic commands.  He has also learned to wait at the door to go out AFTER his human and knows “stay” and “back up” commands.  Kobe will do anything for a treat! He whines at the door when he has to go outside and has had no accidents in his foster home.

He is energetic and loves to play ball and will fetch most anything thrown for him. He also enjoys play time with canine companions.  Kobe is pretty good with the cat in his foster home….but when she runs, he wants to play.  He has been great with the kids too.

Kobe is loyal and affectionate.  He curls into a little ball to sleep and will snuggle up close on the bed if you’ll let him.  If you won’t let him sleep on your bed, he is content to sleep in his own bed and is content there on the floor next to his foster mom.  He is a kisser and eager for attention, much like an over-sized puppy.   

He is not crated in his foster home and does fine loose in the house with the other dog while the family is at work.  Kobe eats in the same room with the other dog in the home, is fine with bones or toys being taken from him, and takes treats very nicely.

Kobe is neutered and up to date on vaccines.  He is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug and everyone who meets him falls in love; a good and loyal dog.  He is waiting to be a devoted companion in his forever home.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
