Meet Chaya! (pronounced Hiya)

This little lady is 7 pounds of pure, fluffy love! Chaya is a 3-year-old red poodle with a heart as soft as her curls. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and you’ll find her cuddled up in your neck, soaking up all the love she can get.

Chaya is a gentle soul who enjoys her daily walks and never misses a chance to sniff out all the neighborhood news. She's housetrained, crate trained, and gets along beautifully with other dogs — in fact, she’d love to have a playful pup friend in her forever home! She could care less about the cats in her foster home.

Chaya sleeps quietly in her crate at night - but if you want a cuddly bed buddy, she'd so willingly comply.

She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has had a recent dental. She’s also on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, so she’s ready to join your family healthy and happy.

If you’re looking for a quiet, cuddly companion who just wants to be close to her humans (and maybe chase a squirrel or two on her walks), Chaya is your girl.

Preference will be given to homes with another friendly, playful dog.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
